The plan is easy to understand and use, the meals consisting of ingredients that are either on hand or easy to find anywhere. There is prep involved, but most of it is easily done within half an hour, not including cook times. I have a renewed interest in cooking now, feel great, and am losing weight. Most of all, there isn't one dish in two weeks that I haven't enjoyed--if an ingredient (e.g. fennel) isn't what I like, I just pick another meal. The best health-conscious book I’ve read. : As a non-vegan trying to improve my health and shift towards a plant-based diet, this book was a godsend. I’ve never spent an evening reading a cookbook cover-to-cover, but in this case, I did. It is SO much more than a cookbook; it contains a true guide to help you create a healthy earth-focused lifestyle. I love how Garry explains why he chooses certain foods, what to keep in his pantry, how this diet affects the planet, and how this plant-based lifestyle changed his health and life. I’m totally on board. The recipes are super easy to grasp and it makes transitioning to a plant-based lifestyle incredibly easy. I initially intended to make one recipe a week but instead, I’ve found myself making them every single day. After buying myself this book, I enjoyed it so much that I went out and bought another one for my friend and I’m about to buy one for my mother. Very happy with this purchase. : This is one of the better Plant-Based cookbooks out there...although I’m no vegan, I found lots of useful information. Many (especially ebooks) are published that are a waste of time...I often find recipes with very unhealthy, albeit “vegan”, processed ingredients, like veg bouillon cubes. This book is far superior...I screenshot many great ideas I will use. The clear nutritional information is amazing and makes cooking and understanding what eating what does to your body. I have already started to use this as a guide on how to plan my meals to better my daily nutritional needs. The recipes are where I fall in love.
